Print
Rosenblum, Leo, February 1, 1923 - October 20, 2018. Leo was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle who lived a full life with nachas and joy from his entire family. He was a giving kind simple man. Leo’s beginnings were tough, living through he Holocaust as he was a resistance fighter in the woods near Vilna, where he saved many lives. Following the war, he came to the United States and started a successful men’s clothing business that stands proudly with his name today, Leo’s Apparel for Men and Boys. Leo worked very hard with his beloved wife, Helaine of blessed memory, and together achieved a wonderful life of family and friends. Leo is survived by his children, David (Suzie) Rosenblum and Fern (Robert) Kiejdan, grandchildren, Tybee and Shachar Sinvani, Shayna and John Dean, and Samantha Rosenblum, great-grandchildren, Nati, Hope, and Matan. He is at peace knowing he left a wonderful legacy. Synagogue services will be held Tuesday 10:30am at Beth El Synagogue, 500 N. Jerome Avenue, Margate. Interment to follow at Shalom Memorial Park, Huntingdon Valley, PA. The family asks that contributions in his memory may be made to the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces, 30 N.
