Felice Lewis Rovner, 98, of Galloway passed away on November 5th of natural causes. Burial is Wednesday at 11:30 am at Beth Kehillah Cemetery, Egg Harbor Township. Raised in Atlantic City, Felice lived in Margate City and West Palm Beach with her husband of 66 years Harvey Rovner, who predeceased her in 2011.

Following graduation from ACHS (where she later taught English), Felice attended the NJ College for Women-Douglass College. During WWII she worked on ENIAC, the world’s first electronic general-purpose computer. Felice and mother Mollye helped create the local Golda Meir Hadassah chapter and together hosted “Hadassah Speaks” on WMID.

Felice loved writing, painting, music, traveling and her beloved beach and boardwalk. She co-authored “A Farmer’s Daughter-Bluma” with longtime friend Bluma Bayuk Rappaport Purmell.

She is survived by children Neil Rovner of Harrisburg, Pa.; William Rovner (Donna) of Robbinsville, N.J.; and, Saralee Rovner Leary (Tim) of Portsmouth, R.I.; grandchildren: Adam Rovner (Jessica), Matthew Rovner, Miriam Rovner, Melissa Faria (Matt), Michael Rovner, Andrea Hebert (Shawn), and Virginia Leary; great-grandchildren: Eli Brown, Talia Rovner and RJ Faria; beloved sisters-in-law: Arlene Rovner and Bess Rovner and nieces, nephews, cousins, and long-time friends. She was predeceased by parents Mollye and Harry Lewis and brother Lionel Lewis. The family thanks Sybil Whitely, Robert Dougherty and staff at Seashore Gardens for many kindnesses.
