Renee Farkas (nee SENFT), daughter of the late Sadie (nee JACOBS) and Alan Senft, wife of the late Samuel Farkas, sister of the late Elayne (Ernie) Chernin. Renee was a loving mother to Joan (Joseph) Cohen, devoted Mom-Mom to Sara (Michael) Phillips and Adam (Louise) Cohen, and 5 great-grandchildren. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Renee met her late husband Samuel and moved to Haddon Township, NJ. The couple started a family and eventually moved to Silver Spring, MD. Renee worked for media and publishing companies including Warner Brothers, National Observer/Wall Street Journal, and Telephone Company of DC/MD. Shortly after the passing of her loving late husband, Renee retired from C&P Telephone Company. She moved north to Cherry Hill, NJ to live near her daughter and family. An active member in the Jewish community and lifelong learner, Renee enjoyed many winters in Florida, needlepointing, knitting, traveling, reading, cooking and was always open to trying new things. Her easygoing affable nature will forever be remembered.
