Norton A. Freedman, Esq of Atlantic City, NJ and formerly of Dresher, PA.
Beloved husband of Gloria (nee Kuperstein) Freedman, and her children, Susan
and Mark Maron of CA, Carolyn and Michael Reitz of Fl, and Nancy Schultz of FL.
Poppy of nine wonderful grandchildren. Brother of Ellen Hochman. He is also
survived by many devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, and his friends from Central
High School Class of 197.
Nort was a graduate of Central High School, Temple University and Temple
University’s School of Law. He was a lecturer of Business Law at Penn State
University, Member of the American Arbitration Association, an elected member
of the Upper Dublin Government Study Commission, an Upper Dublin Township
Commissioner, and a Hearing Examiner for the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.
Nort also served as an attorney and arbitrator for many Montgomery County
Police Departments and was very active in community and civic affairs. He was an
active member of Fort Washington Fire Company. He was a founding member of
Temple Sini Suburban and the first President and life member of the Board of
Directors of Temple Sinai in Dresher, PA.
Nort and his wife Gloria loved to travel, especially on cruises.
Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service, Sunday, July 18, at 1PM, at
Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, 1200 Bartram Avenue, Collingdale, PA 19023
