Obituary for Joel Friedman
Joel Friedman, age 96, of Ventnor, NJ passed on February 10, 2022, at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Philadelphia, PA. Joel was a long-time resident of Ventnor, NJ.
He was a retired Colonel of the United States Air Force for over 45 years. He was an avid reader and loved his crossword puzzles.
He is survived by his sister, Lolly Hoffman, daughter Lisa and Mario Morgan, son Michael Friedman and his beloved grandsons Jason Melchiore, Joseph Friedman, Thomas Friedman, Samuel Friedman, and Matthew Friedman and his great-grandchildren Jackson, Ryan, Liam, and Layla-Bobbie Friedman. He is predeceased by his loving wife Bobbe Friedman, and his sons Richard and William Friedman.
Relatives and friends are invited to graveside services, Monday, February 14, 2022,1:00pm at Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery in Estelle Manor, NJ. In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to the St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.
