Helene "Cookie" Miller (nee Weiss), 70 of Margate, NJ, passed away on December 14, 2021 in Delray Beach, FL.
Cookie was born in Atlantic City, NJ to Rita & Emil Weiss on July 25, 1951. She went to Atlantic City High School and went on to earn a degree in education from Monmouth College. She worked as a teacher for many years, and then went on to be a casino marketing executive. She received the Ms. United Way title in 1983 and was involved in many Jewish charitable organizations over the years, following in the footsteps of her late mother Rita Weiss. She retired to Florida and was active in the Children of Holocaust Survivors Groups, and will be missed by all that knew her and loved her.

Cookie is survived by: her sister Shirley Weiss Karsevar of Jerusalem, Israel, her nephew Daniel Karsevar of New York City, and niece Zahava Wolstein of Jerusalem, Israel, as well as her great-nieces and nephews: OrMryiam, Yehudah Shlomo and Menachem Mendel Wolstein of Jerusalem, Israel and Mina Camille Karsevar, New York. She is preceded in death by her late sister Marilyn Weiss, as well as her parents Rita and Emil Weiss.

was created for Cookie's sister Shirley, who was the victim of a traumatic brain injury and stroke and suffers with acute aphasia. This fund helps with her medical expenses and long term care and treatment.
