Scherr, Frederick, 74, passed away peacefully on December 5th 2018. Fred was born in Philadelphia on September 11 1944 to Mildred and Herbert Scherr, he grew up in Overbrook Park with his two younger sisters Linda Scherr (deceased) and Joan Brody. Later Fred served in the Air Force and in 1968 he married Phyllis Scherr (Kleger) with whom he raised his two children Stacy and Joshua. Fred was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, Animal lover and History buff. Fred spent his later years living in Florida and Margate with his other half Sheila Alexander who he loved dearly. Fred will be sadly missed by his many friends and family members.
