Esther Freedman
Esther (nee Russo) Freedman of Margate, NJ died July 11, 2021. Born and raised in New York, she met and married the love of her life, Josh Freedman. She and Josh owned and operated the Great Josh’s Sub Shop in Margate and Atlantic City. When the casinos came to Atlantic City, she began a new career as a dealer and Floor person. She was a kind and generous mother, grandmother, and Aunt. Her home was always open to friends and family. Esther was predeceased by her loving husband, Joshua Freedman. Loving mother of Louis and Patty Freedman, Julia and Joseph Rescigno and Dawn and Robert Wilkins. Grandmother of Nick, Lauryn, Olivia and Tyler, Devan, Barrett and Alec.
Funeral services and interment were private.
