This tree is a fitting memorial. May it be as beneficial where it is planted as Elliot was to those who knew him.

I was saddened to learn, belatedly, of Elliot's passing. My brother, Eugene Solitaire, worked at Elliot's store on the boardwalk for many years prior to Gene's passing in 2003. Elliot gave my brother purpose and pride at a time in Gene's life when it was sorely needed. I will always be grateful for Elliot's kindness and humanity . My mother, who passed away in 2005, felt the same. My condolences to Elliot's family and friends.

Marc,
I am sad to hear about the loss of your father. From what I understand he was a good man and wonderful father and grandfather. I am sure this is a difficult time for you and your family. If I can do anything for you please don't hesitate to ask. I am here for you brother.

Elliot was a high school classmate and dear friend of mine for many years, given that we had a common allegiance to the boardwalk of Atlantic City. I frequently visited him at his store and more recently spoke with him at his synagogue on Plaza Place. He was truly a devoted and family man, uplifting, and always eager to hear the news of friends and families.. My heartfelt condolences to his family on his untimely passing . May his memory remain forever.

How very sad I was to learn of Elliot's passing. My dear brother-in-law will be deeply missed. Love and prayers to my sister, Kay, and all of Elliot's family. Though with heartfelt sadness, the Lord welcomes the best and the beautiful memories live on.
