Edward A. Alcoba 76, of Linwood, New Jersey passed away on Sunday October 24, 2021, after a long and well fought battle against many Diabetic complications . Eddie was born in Bronx, New York but grew up in Atlantic County. He honorably served his country during the Vietnam War and became disabled to the effects of Agent Orange. He perfected his skills as a carpet installer and was employed by many local firms, before spending more than twenty five years at Harrahs Resorts in the Facilities Department. In his leisure time he enjoyed playing basketball and driving fast cars . To his credit he owned a Chevelle SS and of course a Corvette . He was a huge Chicago Bulls ( Michael Jordan) and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was predeceased by his Granny and DD, both parents and his sister Corliss. Surviving are his loving and devoted wife Sandy T. Alcoba: brothers Walter and Carl ( Jada ) ,sisters Isabelle ( Dorian ) Jones, Diana( James ) Moore, Sonia Alcoba, and Lela (Anthony) Fooks, also surviving are many nieces and nephews . Graveside services will be held on Thursday October 28, 2021 at 1 PM at the Beth Kehillah Cemetery in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association in honor of Eddie. Arrangements and Care are entrusted to the Roth-Goldsteins Memorial Chapel of Atlantic City, New Jersey.
